We were out and about in California's San Fernando Valley recently, when we discovered this chrome pink Jeep Wrangler parked on Ventura Boulevard in Encino. There was no missing it, actually, thanks to its retina-searing gleam in my absolute favorite color.
It didn't take much detective work to trace it to celebrity Amber Rose, affectionately known as Muva, who also happens to live nearby in a swanky south-of-the-boulevard neighborhood.
Once widely perceived as little more than Kanye West’s girlfriend (and then ex-girlfriend), Amber Rose is a self-proclaimed "mother, philanthropist, feminist, entrepreneur, and bad bitch." She is well known for her , a safe, all-inclusive space to entertain, educate, empower, and raise awareness about sexual injustice and gender inequality. Held on October 1st in downtown Los Angeles, this year's second annual event boasted more than 50 sponsors, 16,000 pre-registrants, 7500 attendees, and gave away $10,000 in free counseling services.
Beloved by many for its legendary "Trail-Rated" off-road prowess, the four-door Jeep Wrangler serves a specific lifestyle niche: with room for five adults, the Jeep Wrangler is the only four-door 4x4 convertible on the market. It's meant to go offroad and get dirty, and your passengers might get dirty too! We doubt that Amber Rose takes her Wrangler off-road very often, as who would want to get that pink chrome finish dirty? Customized by the Wrangler also features monster pink-trimmed wheels wrapped in gnarly off-road rubber and surrounded by enormous wheelwells, a custom lightbar, and a custom interior.
And, of course, somewhere in that luxurious leather interior is a child safety seat for her precious cargo, 3-year-old son Sebastian, fathered by rapper Wiz Khalifa.
