I have a 95 Dodge Caravan. It cranks fine, it does not act like it is not getting gas, it actually runs pretty good until I hit about 51 to 52 miles per hour. When I get over 50 it starts jerking and sputtering, surging like it is not getting enough gas, or power or something like that. as soon as I lower the speed back to 50 it goes away and runs normal. It has me puzzled because other than this, it runs perfect. Please help.
While there are several possibilities Martha, the first thing that jumps into my head is ignition coil. They are a pretty common failure on these cars and should be easy for a technician to diagnose. An issue with fuel delivery is another potential problem. Could be as easy as a restricted fuel filter. Either way this should be a straight forward repair. Hope this helps!

Hello Martha- It may be that the speed sensor located on the trans axle- is sending a bad signal to the engine control computer when the vehicle reaches 50 mph or more causing the computer to malfunction - best to have a technician drive with you to see the problem.
hope this helps-
